[Investing] Boots on the Ground: Ross/Marshalls

My wife loves Ross and Marshalls. She loves good deals. Of course, I love

good deals too. But…I have time constraints- However, my wife loves them

and finds joy in finding great deals.

So in the past few days, we went to Marshalls and Ross. Wow-

We were shocked. First, so many people lining up to enter the store…wow-

Second, most merchandise were gone. Even with the overflow of

merchandise from struggling businesses that had to be dumped at Ross and Marshalls-

Customers just bought everything-

It seems with the money saved from eating out and traveling, they are

pouring into buying stuff. Lot of decoration stuff is gone-

I guess people staying longer at home are making it a real home sweet home.

Anyway, my field research shows that Ross and TJX will do GREAT! Won’t be surprised if they crush sales and earnings forecasts-

Looking at their charts, we can see a nice break and trend up-

Ross
TJX Companies

So going long Ross and TJX may work out well-

I am sure other very smart investors are already in- But of course, it can keep moving-

For me, I still like the risk/rewards of REITs and gold miners. However, if you have large sums of money and want less risk to sleep well at night, buying Ross and TJX may be quite appealing- These businesses will be around for a long time. Plus, with the recent economic melt down, people will look for more deals and merchandise will be cheaper with so many companies suffering.

Overall, foot on the ground shows that Ross and TJX are doing quite well and their stocks are likely to do as well.

Thank You Jesus for a blessed day. Let us always be thankful and share Your Love Amen-

Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
