Last day of 2020- And last day of trading for 2020-
Nothing much happening- Bought some HL and EGO, expecting some swings in gold miners later-
Very happy with my cash balance- Lot of dry powder-
It has been a rough 2020. I am thankful that Jesus has always blessed us and looked after us.
In terms of markets, I learned to swing trade, enabling to cover my loss, ending in green in 2020.
I also learned more about REITs and gold miners- Yup, when your stock drops, you study more haha-
I am also thankful for my blog- I don’t get many people but thankful for whoever finds the blog useful.
As I look forward to 2021, I am not as optimistic. All the good news is already priced in, only a super infrastructure bill will sort of jumpstart everything but we will see-
Recovery of travel and service industry will be slower than expected.
I will be conservative and be long housing REITs (IRT, BRG, BPT) and go ultra long gold/silver miners (AG, NEM, GOLD, EGO, HL) banking on the commodity cycle-
I also plan to write more on Seeking Alpha. It has been a very busy semester with COVID-19. Very thankful that it ended well 😀
I will now catch up on some research and also look into some potential investments.
