[Economics] Destroyed Businesses

Today, I went to the beach-

A beautiful day- Thank You Jesus for the rain-

Clear skies and clean air- And no cars-

The wind was chilly but the beach was beautiful!

Yup, the beauty of SoCal-

But because the winds were so strong, we could not stay long on the pier.

So we decided to check out the stores near the beach…

Wow…it wasn’t good.

So bars a year ago and most are closed. I think one is gone forever-

Clothing stores are slashing prices and yet not many people enter.

We go farther from the beach. We saw two hair salons gone. I mean bye bye gone-

We found a gym that is gone as well. The lessor is renovating the space after the gym has disappeared when.

I saw restaurants selling stuff that they would not sell but are trying to survive.

The devastation of lockdowns…California really needs to examine the lockdown policy and have good answers.

Because less than 10 months ago, the real estate in this area was hot…

I feel very sad for the destroyed businesses. Praying that the owners and their families are well.

Nobody could have predicted COVID19 and no one denies that its effect has been devastating.

However, bad policy seems to have things much worse. The cure was worse than the disease. Arbitrary lockdowns and moving targets really took a toll on many businesses.

Newsom has serious questions to answer. I won’t be surprised if he will be sued a lot soon if not already.

Praying for California and America. God bless America.

Thank You Jesus for another blessed day. Let us always be thankful and give You all the glory Amen!

Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
