I was shocked to see the goodbye video of Great Big Story (GBG)-
Shocking- It has 5.4 million subscribers and it is going down? Then I found out that Great Big Story was part of CNN and it got shut down.
That got me thinking wow…they must have spent a lot of money despite the ad revenue and sponsorships.
The fact that it was not bought by other group tells that GBG cost too much-
I am sad to see the it go- But it is economics at the end of the day-
Also, GBG started running out of stories so the latter stories were not as great…I think some people around me may had more interesting things-
And it also got quite political- We want great stories not politics…not the best move-
So at the end of the day, I am sad it is gone but it was still shocking how costly GBG must have been-
