[Education] Dr. Jill Biden?

Wow…I can’t believe that people are fighting over whether Jill Biden, who has an Ed.D should be called Dr. or not.

Just let her be. She has an Ed.D, so it is a doctorate. So if she wants to call herself Dr. let her be.

I have a PhD and I don’t like being called a Dr. because there is no need to be reminded of what degree I earned. Also, life is short, why do we need to add Dr. to lengthen the time when calling someone…

This is just bizarre. Don’t we have more urgent things to worry about. Like taking care of people, teaching better, doing more research? Instead of arguing whether calling someone Dr. or not?

Also, I am not sure why this suddenly turned into a sexist crusade. It’s about whether Jill Biden should be called Dr. Biden or not. Not whether women with doctorate or medical degrees can be called Dr. overall….

So bizarre. Also, doesn’t the media have more important and urgent news to report? There are people starving. Suicide rates are increasing. Families are breaking down. And the news and Twitter are feuding over whether we should call someone Dr. or not.

I think if I were Jill Biden, I would just ignore the feud and say we should probably focus on more urgent things like economic breakdown and increasing mental disorders and stress during the holidays. That would be called good leadership.

Anyway, it is 2020 so I am not even surprised how things that are not that important is sweeping the web. Also, WSJ what were you thinking? There is so much to cover like crazy markets, imploding small businesses, breaking tech giants…and you settle on talking about whether someone should be called Dr. or not…wow…

Anyway, it is 2020. And it is almost over. Hope we don’t have more bizarre stuff happening.

Praying for America. God bless America-

Jesus, let us not fight but let us love one another. Also, Jesus let us focus on things that matter and do Your work Amen-

Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
